Responsibilities
- Oversee daily night operations to ensure 100% throughput and adherence to production schedules.
- Mentor and supervise evening staff, fostering a culture of safety and accountability.
- Conduct quality control inspections and resolve operational bottlenecks immediately.
- Manage inventory accuracy and ensure proper documentation of stock movements.
- Enforce strict safety protocols and compliance regulations to maintain a hazard-free environment.
- Coordinate with day-shift management to ensure seamless handover of operations.
- Handle emergency situations calmly and effectively, escalating issues when necessary.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a shift leadership or supervisory role within logistics or warehousing.
- Proven ability to work effectively during night shifts and weekends.
- Strong understanding of safety regulations (OSHA) and inventory management systems.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to lead a diverse team.
- Ability to operate standard warehouse equipment (e.g., forklift, pallet jack).
- High school diploma or GED equivalent; Associate’s degree preferred.
