Responsibilities
- Monitor premises via CCTV and patrols to prevent unauthorized access
- Respond to alarms and incidents with professional de-escalation techniques
- Complete detailed incident reports and security documentation
- Operate access control systems and screening equipment
- Coordinate with law enforcement during emergency situations
- Conduct regular property inspections for safety hazards
- Maintain strict confidentiality of sensitive site information
Qualifications
- Must be 21+ years old with valid DC Security License
- Ability to work weekends (Fri-Sat) 10 PM - 6 AM
- Strong observational and communication skills
- Ability to stand/walk for extended periods
- Basic computer literacy for report writing
- Pass background check and drug screening
- Previous security experience preferred but not required
- Must be US citizen or authorized to work
