Responsibilities
- Monitor patient vital signs and document observations in electronic health records
- Assist with patient mobility, hygiene, and comfort during overnight shifts
- Respond to patient call bells and provide timely assistance
- Prepare examination rooms and maintain medical equipment sterilization
- Collaborate with nursing staff on patient care plans and handover procedures
- Administer basic treatments under provider supervision
- Maintain accurate documentation of patient activities and incidents
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) or EMT certification preferred
- Minimum 6 months healthcare experience in a clinical setting
- Ability to stand/walk for extended periods during night shifts
- Basic knowledge of medical terminology and HIPAA compliance
- Strong attention to detail and critical thinking abilities
- Valid CPR certification or willingness to obtain upon hire
- Flexibility to work weekends and holidays as needed
