Responsibilities
- Assist physicians with patient examinations and procedures during evening shifts
- Perform vital signs, EKGs, and basic lab tests accurately
- Prepare and maintain exam rooms, ensuring proper sterilization
- Manage patient records and electronic health documentation
- Coordinate patient flow and schedule during overnight hours
- Administer medications under physician supervision
- Respond to patient inquiries and emergencies promptly
- Collaborate with night nursing staff for seamless care delivery
Qualifications
- Current Medical Assistant certification (CMA or RMA)
- Minimum 1 year clinical experience in healthcare setting
- Valid BLS/CPR certification
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology and procedures
- Ability to work independently during overnight shifts
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficiency with electronic health records (EHR) systems
