Responsibilities
- Monitor patient vital signs and respond to overnight care needs
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed
- Document patient observations accurately in electronic health records
- Collaborate with on-call physicians and emergency response teams
- Maintain sterile environments and infection control protocols
- Provide emotional support to patients and families during nighttime hours
- Coordinate with day shift teams for seamless continuity of care
Qualifications
- Current Colorado CNA certification or equivalent medical credential
- Minimum 1 year acute care experience preferred
- BLS/CPR certification required
- Strong attention to detail during overnight monitoring
- Ability to work independently in high-pressure situations
- Exceptional communication and documentation skills
- Flexibility to adapt to changing patient conditions
- Pass background check and drug screening
