Responsibilities
- Coordinate patient admissions, transfers, and discharges during overnight shifts
- Monitor patient vital signs and document electronic health records (EHR)
- Assist with medication administration under physician protocols
- Respond to patient emergencies and triage urgent requests
- Collaborate with on-call physicians and nursing staff
- Maintain sterile environments and infection control standards
- Prepare patient charts and ensure regulatory compliance
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; CNA or EMT certification preferred
- Minimum 1 year healthcare experience (night shift a plus)
- Proficiency with electronic health records (EPIC a plus)
- BLS/CPR certification required
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
- Ability to remain calm under pressure during emergencies
- Valid Virginia driver's license and reliable transportation
- Availability to work weekends and holidays
