We are seeking a highly skilled Night Shift NOC Technician to join our growing IT team in New Orleans. In this role, you will play a critical part in maintaining our network stability and ensuring our clients experience seamless service around the clock. Responsibilities
- Monitor server infrastructure, network traffic, and system performance metrics 24/7.
- Execute routine maintenance tasks, patch management, and backups during off-peak hours.
- Diagnose and resolve complex technical issues for internal users with high urgency.
- Log and update incident tickets in our Service Desk management system.
- Conduct security audits and verify access controls during the night shift.
- Communicate effectively with day-shift leads regarding ongoing incidents.
Qualifications
- Associate degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent professional experience.
- CompTIA A+ or Network+ certification is strongly preferred.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in a Help Desk or NOC environment.
- Strong understanding of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and firewall configurations.
- Must be willing and able to work rotating night shifts (10 PM - 6 AM).
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently.
