Responsibilities
- Assist providers with patient examinations and procedures during evening/weekend hours
- Administer medications, injections, and perform vital sign assessments
- Maintain accurate electronic health records (EHR) documentation
- Prepare exam rooms and sterilize medical equipment
- Triage patient calls and manage after-hours clinic flow
- Coordinate with on-call physicians for urgent care needs
- Provide patient education on treatment plans and medications
Qualifications
- Active Medical Assistant certification (CMA/RMA)
- Minimum 1 year clinical experience in ambulatory setting
- Current BLS/CPR certification
- Proficiency in EHR systems (Epic/NextGen preferred)
- Availability to work 4x 10-hour shifts (6PM-4AM)
- Strong critical thinking during off-hours decision-making
- Exceptional communication skills with diverse populations
