Responsibilities
- Perform patient vitals assessment and clinical documentation in EHR systems
- Assist physicians with examinations and minor procedures
- Administer injections and medications under provider supervision
- Handle patient scheduling and phone triage during evening hours
- Maintain sterile exam rooms and inventory of medical supplies
- Provide patient education on treatment plans and preventive care
- Collaborate with night nursing staff for seamless patient handoffs
Qualifications
- Active Medical Assistant certification (CMA or RMA)
- Minimum 1 year clinical experience in ambulatory setting
- Current BLS/CPR certification
- Proficiency with EHR systems (Epic or NextGen preferred)
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Flexibility to cover variable evening shifts (10 PM - 6 AM)
- Arizona state medical assistant license
