Responsibilities
- Oversee Night Operations: Monitor and manage the flow of goods through our Long Beach facility during evening hours to ensure timely processing.
- Carrier Communication: Coordinate with truck drivers and shipping agents to resolve issues and confirm delivery schedules.
- Inventory Management: Conduct accurate physical counts and digital inventory updates to maintain stock accuracy.
- Data Entry & Reporting: Input shipment data into our TMS (Transportation Management System) and generate daily shift reports.
- Quality Assurance: Inspect incoming and outgoing cargo for damage and ensure proper documentation is completed.
Qualifications
- Availability: Must be available to work evening shifts (e.g., 4:00 PM – 12:30 AM) and weekends as required.
- Education: High school diploma or GED required; Associate’s degree in Logistics or Supply Chain preferred.
- Experience: Previous experience in logistics, warehousing, or supply chain management is highly preferred.
- Technical Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel) and basic computer navigation.
- Attention to Detail: Strong ability to maintain accurate records and follow safety protocols.
