Responsibilities
- Accurately input and maintain confidential patient records in electronic health systems
- Verify and cross-reference data from source documents to ensure 100% accuracy
- Process high-volume transactions within nightly deadlines (avg. 150+ entries/hour)
- Perform quality audits using proprietary validation software
- Collaborate with day-team staff for seamless data reconciliation
- Adhere to HIPAA compliance protocols for sensitive information
- Generate nightly performance reports for department review
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year experience in high-volume data entry or similar role
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook)
- Ability to type 60+ WPM with 99% accuracy
- Strong attention to detail with error-spotting capabilities
- Experience with EHR systems (Epic/NextGen preferred)
- Ability to work independently during overnight shifts (10PM-6AM)
- Reliable transportation for downtown Baltimore location
- Basic knowledge of healthcare data standards a plus
