Responsibilities
- Operate Material Handling Equipment: Safely and efficiently load, unload, sort, and transport merchandise using forklifts, pallet jacks, and conveyor systems.
- Inventory Management: Perform daily stock counts, cycle counts, and ensure accurate inventory records by scanning barcodes and logging data.
- Packaging & Shipping: Properly package items to prevent damage, apply shipping labels, and prepare orders for courier pickup.
- Quality Control: Inspect incoming and outgoing shipments for accuracy and quality, flagging any discrepancies immediately.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere strictly to all safety protocols and OSHA guidelines to maintain a secure workplace for yourself and your team.
- Team Collaboration: Communicate effectively with morning shift staff and supervisors to ensure a smooth transition of duties.
- Organization: Maintain a clean, organized work area and assist in organizing warehouse aisles and storage racks.
Qualifications
- Availability: Must be available to work night shifts (e.g., 10:00 PM - 6:00 AM) on a consistent basis.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to stand, walk, lift, and carry items weighing up to 50 pounds repeatedly throughout the shift.
- Reliability: A strong track record of punctuality and dependability.
- Communication Skills: Basic ability to read and write, with clear verbal communication skills.
- Equipment Operation: Previous experience operating forklifts or pallet jacks is a plus but not required (training provided).
- Attention to Detail: Ability to focus on tasks and notice errors in inventory or shipping data.
