Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough patrols of assigned premises using advanced surveillance systems
- Monitor access points and verify credentials for all personnel and visitors
- Document security incidents and submit detailed incident reports within 24 hours
- Coordinate with law enforcement and emergency services during critical incidents
- Operate X-ray machines and screening equipment for threat detection
- Conduct regular equipment checks and maintenance on security systems
- Maintain constant radio communication with central command and team members
Qualifications
- Valid DC Security Guard License (required)
- Minimum 2 years security experience with night shift background
- Proficient in CCTV operation and access control systems
- Ability to obtain Secret Service clearance (company-sponsored)
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- First Aid/CPR certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Ability to stand/walk for 8+ hours and lift 50 lbs
