Responsibilities
- Manage patron check-ins, book circulation, and overdue processing using ILS systems
- Assist with digital literacy training, including basic computer skills and e-resource navigation
- Support event coordination for children's programs, workshops, and community outreach
- Maintain library organization, including shelving, inventory, and space management
- Provide exceptional customer service in person, phone, and digital channels
- Collaborate with team on collection development and promotional materials
- Participate in ongoing training for new technologies and library services
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
- Basic computer literacy and familiarity with digital tools
- Strong communication skills and customer service mindset
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 20 lbs
- Flexibility to work evenings/weekends as needed
- Passion for community engagement and education
- Ability to pass background check and fingerprinting
- Willingness to learn library-specific systems and procedures
