Responsibilities
- Assist patrons in locating library materials and navigating digital resources
- Process checkouts, returns, and interlibrary loan requests
- Shelve and organize library collections according to Dewey Decimal System
- Provide basic reference assistance and technology support
- Maintain clean and orderly reading areas and public spaces
- Support library programs and events for all age groups
- Operate circulation systems and assist with inventory management
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Strong customer service orientation and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Basic computer proficiency and willingness to learn new systems
- Attention to detail and organizational abilities
