Responsibilities
- Manage circulation desk operations using provided equipment (Ipad scanners, RFID systems)
- Assist patrons with digital resources using library-provided computers and devices
- Process new materials and maintain collection integrity with cataloging software
- Support technology instruction sessions using provided equipment
- Coordinate community programs using AV systems and event technology
- Maintain accurate records using library management software
- Operate specialized equipment (3D printers, microfilm readers) for patron requests
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Proficient with library-provided technology (Microsoft Office, catalog systems)
- Customer service experience with diverse populations
- Ability to learn specialized library equipment quickly
- Basic computer troubleshooting skills
- Flexibility to work weekends and evenings
- Valid Texas driver's license (for outreach programs)
- Spanish language preferred for bilingual community support
