Responsibilities
- Assist patrons with book circulation, returns, and catalog searches using our integrated library system
- Provide exceptional customer service at service desks and via phone/email inquiries
- Organize and maintain library materials, ensuring shelves are properly shelved and displays are refreshed
- Support children's and adult programming activities including storytimes and workshops
- Process new acquisitions and manage periodical collections
- Assist with digital literacy support for patrons using computers and online resources
- Contribute to a welcoming, inclusive environment for all community members
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (no college degree required)
- Strong communication skills with a passion for helping others
- Basic computer literacy and ability to learn new software quickly
