Responsibilities
- Manage complex interlibrary loan systems and digital resource curation
- Lead specialized reference services for academic and professional research
- Develop and implement community outreach programs for underserved populations
- Supervise part-time staff and volunteers in daily library operations
- Oversee archival digitization projects and metadata management
- Coordinate with external partners for grant-funded initiatives
- Train patrons on advanced research databases and technology platforms
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Library Science (MLS) or related field required
- 3+ years of progressive library experience with technical services focus
- Expertise in MARC cataloging, RDA standards, and metadata schemas
- Advanced proficiency in ILS systems (e.g., Sierra, Evergreen)
- Demonstrated success in grant writing and program development
- Certification in archival management or digital preservation preferred
- Experience supervising cross-functional teams
- Knowledge of Minnesota library systems and community resources
