Responsibilities
- Operate provided library equipment including self-checkout kiosks, book scanners, and automated sorting systems
- Assist patrons with digital resources using provided tablets and computer workstations
- Manage circulation desk operations with provided POS systems and inventory management tools
- Process new materials using provided cataloging software and labeling equipment
- Maintain organization of physical collections with provided shelving carts and material handling tools
- Support technology assistance using provided diagnostic tools and training resources
- Execute inventory control using provided barcode scanners and database systems
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; library science certification preferred
- Experience operating library technology or similar equipment
- Strong customer service orientation with ability to troubleshoot technical issues
- Proficiency with basic computer systems and digital platforms
- Ability to lift 25 lbs and operate provided material handling equipment
- Attention to detail with organizational skills for inventory management
- Ability to work independently with provided resources while collaborating with team
