Responsibilities
- Manage circulation services including check-ins, check-outs, and account maintenance
- Assist patrons with digital resources, research databases, and technology troubleshooting
- Oversee cataloging and organization of physical and digital collections
- Develop and execute community outreach programs for diverse demographics
- Train and mentor new staff and volunteers on library protocols
- Manage interlibrary loan systems and resource sharing networks
- Maintain accurate statistical records and usage analytics
Qualifications
- Associate's degree in Library Science or related field (Bachelor's preferred)
- Minimum 3 years library or customer service experience
- Advanced proficiency with integrated library systems (ILS)
- Certification in digital resource management (e.g., LibGuides, OCLC)
- Strong bilingual skills (English/Spanish) required
- Experience with grant writing and program development
- Valid California driver's license with clean record
