Responsibilities
- Assist patrons with locating materials, digital resources, and reference inquiries
- Process and organize library materials including circulation, cataloging, and shelving
- Manage patron accounts, handle fines, and maintain accurate circulation records
- Support technology assistance including public computer access and digital literacy support
- Coordinate and facilitate community programs and events for all age groups
- Maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for library users
- Collaborate with team members to optimize library operations and patron experience
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate's degree or library coursework preferred
- Minimum 1 year customer service experience in a public-facing role
- Proficiency with library systems (ILS) and Microsoft Office Suite
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team
- Basic knowledge of library principles and resource organization
- Excellent communication skills with diverse populations
- Flexibility to work evenings and weekends as required
