Responsibilities
- Assist patrons with locating materials, checking items in/out, and using library technology
- Provide excellent customer service in person and via phone/email inquiries
- Process new materials, maintain shelf order, and perform light collection maintenance
- Support program coordination and event execution for community outreach
- Operate library systems including circulation, cataloging, and reservation software
- Contribute to a welcoming, accessible, and inclusive library environment
- Participate in ongoing training and professional development opportunities
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required; college coursework preferred
- Strong customer service skills with ability to assist diverse populations
- Basic computer proficiency including Microsoft Office suite
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team setting
- Flexibility with scheduling including evenings and weekends
- Attention to detail and accuracy in handling materials and transactions

- Previous library or customer service experience a plus
