Responsibilities
- Assist patrons with circulation services, including check-ins, check-outs, and renewals
- Provide reference support and technology guidance to library visitors
- Organize and maintain library collections using Dewey Decimal classification
- Process new materials including cataloging, labeling, and shelving
- Coordinate children's and adult programming events
- Manage interlibrary loan requests and document delivery
- Support digital literacy initiatives and database navigation
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; library science certification preferred
- 1+ years experience in library or customer service environment
- Proficiency with integrated library systems (ILS) and MS Office
- Strong interpersonal skills with diverse populations
- Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities
- Basic knowledge of cataloging principles and metadata standards
- Ability to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends
