Responsibilities
- Safely walk and supervise dogs in public areas and residential neighborhoods
- Provide feeding, medication administration, and playtime as specified by pet owners
- Maintain detailed logs of pet behavior, health observations, and service delivery
- Utilize GPS tracking and photo/video updates for client transparency
- Uphold strict safety protocols during off-leash park visits and group walks
- Communicate effectively with clients regarding pet needs and schedule changes
- Transport pets to veterinary appointments and grooming facilities when required
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year professional dog handling or pet care experience
- Valid driver's license with clean driving record
- Certification in Pet First Aid/CPR (or willingness to obtain immediately)
- Excellent physical fitness and ability to handle large/reactive dogs
- Reliable transportation and smartphone with data plan
- Strong attention to detail and time management skills
