Responsibilities
- Master espresso extraction techniques and develop signature seasonal beverages
- Train and mentor junior baristas on coffee craftsmanship and customer engagement
- Manage inventory of premium coffee beans, syrups, and equipment
- Ensure exceptional cleanliness and sanitation across all coffee stations
- Handle customer inquiries with product knowledge and upselling expertise
- Collaborate with management on seasonal menu development and promotions
Qualifications
- 3+ years of professional barista experience with specialty coffee certification
- Expert-level latte art and espresso machine proficiency
- Proven leadership or mentorship experience in food service
- Ability to multitask in high-volume settings while maintaining quality
- Strong knowledge of coffee bean origins, roasts, and brewing methods
- Exceptional communication and conflict resolution skills
- Flexible availability including weekends and holidays
