Responsibilities
- Expertly prepare and serve specialty coffee beverages using premium beans and techniques
- Train and mentor new baristas on brewing methods, customer service, and inventory management
- Manage daily operations including opening/closing procedures and cash handling
- Develop seasonal drink menus and ensure consistent quality standards
- Foster positive customer relationships through personalized service
- Maintain impeccable cleanliness of workspace and equipment
- Collaborate with team on community events and coffee education initiatives
Qualifications
- 3+ years of professional barista experience with specialty coffee expertise
- Advanced knowledge of espresso extraction, brewing methods, and latte art
- Proven leadership experience in high-volume service environments
- Exceptional communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work efficiently during peak hours while maintaining quality
- Food Handler and ServSafe certifications preferred
