Responsibilities
- Expertly craft specialty coffee drinks using advanced espresso techniques
- Train and mentor new baristas on brewing methods and customer service standards
- Manage inventory, ordering, and quality control of coffee beans and supplies
- Develop seasonal drink menus featuring local ingredients
- Lead daily opening/closing procedures and maintain pristine workspace
- Resolve customer inquiries with professionalism and product knowledge
- Collaborate with kitchen team on food-beverage pairings
Qualifications
- 3+ years professional barista experience with espresso mastery
- ServSafe certification or equivalent food handling knowledge
- Proven leadership experience in food service environments
- Exceptional interpersonal skills and multitasking ability
- Knowledge of coffee origins, roasting profiles, and brewing methods
- Availability to work weekends and holidays
- Basic math skills for cash handling and inventory management
