Responsibilities
- Execute espresso extraction, latte art, and specialty beverage preparation to exacting standards
- Train and mentor junior baristas on coffee techniques and customer service excellence
- Manage inventory of premium coffee beans, syrups, and supplies
- Develop seasonal beverage menus featuring local ingredients
- Ensure exceptional customer interactions through personalized service
- Maintain pristine equipment and sanitation protocols
- Collaborate with kitchen team on food-coffee pairings
Qualifications
- 3+ years specialty coffee experience with advanced latte art skills
- Sirens/Barista Pro or equivalent certification preferred
- Expert knowledge of coffee origins, roasting profiles, and brewing methods
- Proven ability to train and lead teams
- Exceptional communication and multitasking abilities
- Flexibility to work early mornings, weekends, and holidays
- Basic POS system proficiency
- Texas Food Handler certification
