Responsibilities
- Execute Test Scripts: Perform comprehensive manual and automated testing to ensure software functionality across various platforms.
- Defect Tracking: Identify, document, and track software defects using JIRA, providing clear steps to reproduce issues.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with developers and product managers to reproduce bugs and verify fixes efficiently.
- Regression Testing: Conduct thorough regression testing on deployed features to prevent future disruptions.
- Requirements Analysis: Assist in analyzing requirements and creating test plans to align with project goals.
- Documentation: Maintain detailed test reports and documentation of test results.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent professional experience.
- Experience: Basic understanding of software testing methodologies and the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
- Technical Skills: Familiarity with JIRA, Selenium, or similar testing tools is a plus.
- Attention to Detail: Strong analytical skills with a keen eye for detail and usability.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills to convey technical issues clearly.
- Availability: Must be available to work evening shifts (4:00 PM – 12:00 AM) on a part-time basis.
