Responsibilities
- Safely walk dogs in designated Pittsburgh neighborhoods and parks
- Provide feeding, medication administration, and basic care as per client instructions
- Clean up after pets and maintain client property standards
- Monitor pets for health/behavior changes and communicate observations
- Adhere to strict scheduling and GPS tracking protocols
- Manage client keys and access codes securely
- Document services and maintain accurate client records
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year professional dog handling experience
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Availability for weekday/evening/weekend shifts
- Strong knowledge of dog behavior and handling techniques
- Ability to manage multiple leashed dogs simultaneously
- Excellent time management and punctuality
- Passion for animal welfare and customer service
- Clean background check and reliable references required
