Responsibilities

- Process customer purchases accurately and efficiently using the Point of Sale (POS) system.
- Handle cash, credit, and check transactions while maintaining strict accountability and balancing drawers.
- Bag groceries and assist customers with loading items into their vehicles.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe checkout area and surrounding aisles.
- Answer phone inquiries and resolve customer complaints professionally and promptly.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure store operations run smoothly during peak hours.
Qualifications
- Previous experience as a cashier or in retail is preferred but not required; training will be provided.
- Strong math skills and the ability to handle cash accurately.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs regularly.
- Reliable attendance and availability to work flexible shifts, including weekends and holidays.
- Basic computer proficiency and a willingness to learn new technology.
