Responsibilities
- Stock and organize merchandise in assigned departments with precision and efficiency
- Operate pallet jacks and forklifts safely to move inventory from stockroom to sales floor
- Rotate stock following FIFO principles to ensure product freshness
- Collaborate with overnight team to maintain store cleanliness and safety standards
- Conduct cycle counts and inventory audits as scheduled
- Adhere to visual merchandising guidelines for optimal product presentation
- Report maintenance issues and operational concerns to shift supervisor
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year experience in retail stocking or warehouse operations
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand/walk for extended periods
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record (required for equipment operation)
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision in early morning hours
- Basic math skills for inventory management and price verification
- Availability to work shifts between 3:00 AM - 9:00 AM, including weekends
- Forklift certification or willingness to obtain upon hire
