Responsibilities
- Perform daily dog walks of varying lengths and intensities based on breed and energy levels.
- Ensure all dogs are securely leashed and monitored at all times during the walk.
- Collect and provide fresh water and food as directed by pet parents.
- Manage waste disposal in a hygienic and responsible manner.
- Conduct brief daily check-ins with owners to provide updates on their pet's behavior and health.
- Adhere to strict safety protocols and route planning to ensure timely arrivals.
- Assist with light pet grooming and basic first aid if necessary.
Qualifications
- Previous professional dog walking or pet sitting experience is preferred.
- Valid Driver's License and access to a reliable vehicle.
- Strong knowledge of dog breeds, body language, and safety practices.
- Must be available for varying shifts, including early mornings, evenings, and weekends.
- Must pass a comprehensive background check and drug screening.
- Excellent communication skills and a friendly, professional demeanor.
- Ability to work independently in diverse weather conditions.
