Responsibilities
- Greet and welcome customers with a friendly, professional demeanor.
- Process cash, credit, and debit transactions accurately and efficiently using the Point of Sale (POS) system.
- Answer customer inquiries regarding products, prices, and store policies.
- Handle cash deposits, maintain the cash drawer, and balance daily shifts.
- Assist with inventory stocking and store organization as needed.
- Resolve customer complaints or issues professionally and promptly.
- Ensure the checkout area is clean, organized, and fully stocked.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED).
- Previous cash handling or retail experience is preferred but not required.
- Strong math skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs.
- Reliable transportation and availability to work weekends and holidays.
- Proficiency with basic computer applications and POS systems.
