Responsibilities
- Process customer transactions efficiently using POS systems while maintaining 100% accuracy
- Deliver exceptional customer service with personalized recommendations and problem-solving
- Manage cash handling, balancing registers, and resolving discrepancies
- Upsell premium products and loyalty program enrollment
- Maintain organized checkout areas and assist with inventory rotation
- Train new cashiers on store policies and procedures
- Contribute to store cleanliness and visual merchandising standards
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year retail or cashier experience preferred
- Proven cash handling accuracy with reconciliation experience
- Strong communication skills and customer rapport abilities
- Proficiency with point-of-sale technology (e.g., Square, Shopify POS)
- Ability to work flexible shifts including weekends and holidays
- Basic math skills and attention to detail
- Valid Texas driver's license and reliable transportation
- High school diploma or equivalent required
