Responsibilities
- Develop and execute 2026 technology foresight strategies through horizon scanning and trend analysis
- Lead cross-functional teams in prototyping and validating emerging technologies (quantum, biotech, AR/VR)
- Produce actionable white papers and scenario-planning frameworks for executive stakeholders
- Establish partnerships with academic institutions and innovation labs for R&D collaboration
- Present strategic recommendations to C-suite and board members with data-backed insights
- Mentor junior futurists and build an internal innovation pipeline
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic technology planning or futurist roles
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Technology Management, or related field
- Proven track record of predicting tech trends (published research/portfolio required)
- Expertise in AI ethics, quantum computing applications, or neurotech integration
- Exceptional communication skills for translating complex concepts to diverse audiences
- Certification in Foresight Methodology (e.g., from Association of Professional Futurists)
- Experience with scenario planning tools and foresight methodologies
