Responsibilities
- Analyze emerging tech trends (AI, quantum computing, biotech, Web3) to identify disruptive opportunities and threats
- Develop and maintain 5-10 year strategic innovation roadmaps aligned with business objectives
- Lead scenario planning workshops to model future market conditions and organizational responses
- Partner with product teams to integrate futuristic capabilities into development roadmaps
- Deliver executive-level briefings on technological implications and strategic recommendations
- Establish cross-functional innovation incubators for prototyping next-gen solutions
- Monitor global tech policy shifts and regulatory impacts on emerging technologies
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy, innovation management, or futurist consulting
- Proven track record of translating futuristic concepts into commercialized solutions
- Deep expertise in at least two emerging tech domains (AI/ML, blockchain, AR/VR, etc.)
- Exceptional systems thinking with ability to model complex future scenarios
- Certification in foresight methodologies (e.g., CFMP, CFP) or equivalent experience
- Published thought leadership in tech futurism or innovation strategy
- Experience advising C-suite executives on technology disruption planning
- MBA or advanced degree in Technology, Strategy, or Futures Studies preferred
