What you'll achieve:
- Develop the 2026 Strategic Roadmap by identifying paradigm-shifting technologies and market disruptions
- Partner with C-suite executives to embed future intelligence into corporate strategy
- Create immersive scenario-planning models for quantum computing, AI ethics, and sustainable tech
- Lead cross-functional initiatives to prototype next-gen products and services
- Establish thought leadership through whitepapers, keynote presentations, and industry panels
Responsibilities
- Conduct horizon scanning across biotech, AI, climate tech, and neuro-interfaces
- Design and maintain the 2026 Foresight Database with predictive analytics
- Facilitate executive workshops on existential risks and opportunity windows
- Collaborate with R&D to de-risk innovation portfolios for 2026 adoption curves
- Author annual 'Future State' reports for stakeholders and investors
- Mentor a team of futurist analysts using systemic thinking methodologies
- Represent the company at global futurist forums and Davos-style summits
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or futurist research
- Proven track record of developing 5+ year strategic roadmaps for Fortune 500 companies
- Expertise in scenario planning, trend analysis, and technology adoption curves
- Deep understanding of quantum computing, synthetic biology, and AGI implications
- Certification in Foresight Methodologies (e.g., CFAP preferred)
- Exceptional storytelling skills with data visualization expertise
- PhD or Master's degree in Futures Studies, Systems Thinking, or related field
