Responsibilities
- Analyze emerging technologies, societal shifts, and global megatrends to forecast market opportunities through 2026
- Develop and implement strategic roadmaps for future-proofing business operations and product development
- Lead cross-functional workshops to align stakeholders on future vision and innovation priorities
- Produce high-impact research reports and scenario-planning frameworks for executive decision-making
- Collaborate with R&D teams to identify disruptive technologies with 5-10 year commercial viability
- Represent the company at global futurist conferences and industry thought leadership forums
- Mentor junior strategists and cultivate a culture of innovation across the organization
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Planning, Technology Forecasting, or related field
- Minimum 7 years in strategic planning, innovation consulting, or futurist research roles
- Proven expertise in scenario planning, trend analysis, and technology assessment methodologies
- Deep understanding of AI, biotech, climate tech, and quantum computing trajectories
- Exceptional data synthesis skills with ability to visualize complex future scenarios
- Strong executive communication skills with experience presenting to C-suite audiences
- Published thought leadership in futurism or innovation (articles, white papers, books)
- Portfolio demonstrating successful strategic initiatives implemented through 2025+ timelines
