Responsibilities
- Lead horizon scanning to identify emerging technologies, social trends, and geopolitical shifts impacting 2026+
- Develop quantitative and qualitative scenario models for strategic decision-making
- Collaborate with R&D teams to translate foresight into innovation roadmaps
- Present strategic insights to executive leadership and cross-functional stakeholders
- Design and implement foresight frameworks to build organizational resilience
- Partner with product teams to future-proof service offerings and customer experiences
- Author thought leadership publications on future trends and strategic adaptation
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Planning, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 7+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or corporate strategy
- Proven expertise in scenario planning and trend analysis methodologies
- Deep understanding of AI, climate tech, and biotechnology convergence
- Exceptional storytelling skills for translating complex futures into actionable strategies
- Experience with horizon scanning tools and predictive analytics platforms
- Portfolio demonstrating successful strategic initiatives implemented from future insights
- Certification in foresight methodologies (e.g., from Association of Professional Futurists)
