Responsibilities
- Analyze global technology, social, and economic trends to forecast disruptive developments through 2030
- Develop and execute strategic innovation roadmaps aligned with 2026 business objectives
- Lead cross-functional workshops to ideate and prototype future-focused solutions
- Present compelling future scenarios to executive stakeholders and board members
- Partner with R&D teams to validate emerging technologies and market opportunities
- Build and maintain a global network of futurists, academics, and industry disruptors
- Author thought leadership publications and whitepapers on 2026+ trends
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic planning, innovation consulting, or futurist research
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Systems Thinking, or related field
- Proven track record of developing and implementing multi-year strategic plans
- Expertise in scenario planning, trend analysis, and horizon scanning methodologies
- Deep understanding of exponential technologies (AI, quantum computing, synthetic biology)
- Exceptional communication skills with ability to translate complex concepts for diverse audiences
- Portfolio demonstrating foresight projects or published future-focused work
- Experience working in fast-paced tech or biotech environments preferred
