Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain a 2026+ technology and societal foresight framework using AI-driven trend analysis
- Produce strategic innovation roadmaps with measurable KPIs for executive leadership
- Lead cross-functional workshops to identify and prioritize emerging opportunities
- Partner with R&D teams to translate foresight into prototype development
- Author quarterly horizon scanning reports and scenario planning documents
- Represent Horizon at global innovation forums and thought leadership events
- Mentor junior strategists in foresight methodologies and innovation processes
Qualifications
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Foresight, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years in corporate strategy, innovation consulting, or futurist role
- Expertise in trend analysis, scenario planning, and horizon scanning techniques
- Proficiency with AI-powered forecasting tools (e.g., GPT-4, Trendalyzer)
- Proven track record of implementing strategic innovation initiatives
- Deep understanding of emerging tech (quantum, AI, biotech) and societal shifts
- Exceptional presentation skills with executive experience
- Certification in Strategic Foresight (e.g., from APF or foresight organizations)
