Responsibilities
- Develop 5-year strategic foresight frameworks mapping technology convergence (AI, quantum, biotech)
- Lead scenario-planning workshops for C-suite on societal disruption risks and opportunities
- Identify and validate emerging market gaps through trend analysis and ethnographic research
- Architect innovation pipelines for future-proofing product roadmaps
- Present strategic recommendations to executive leadership and board committees
- Mentor cross-functional teams in future-thinking methodologies
- Publish thought leadership on industry transformation in peer-reviewed journals
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futuristics, Systems Thinking, or Innovation Strategy (PhD preferred)
- 7+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or R&D leadership
- Expertise in technology convergence analysis and exponential trend forecasting
- Proven track record translating foresight into actionable business strategies
- Published research on AI ethics or societal impact of emerging tech
- Proficiency in foresight tools (Horizon Scanning, Delphi Method, Causal Layered Analysis)
- Experience advising Fortune 500 executives on disruption preparedness
