Responsibilities
- Develop and execute technology roadmaps for 2026+ initiatives, aligning with long-term business objectives
- Conduct horizon scanning to identify emerging technologies (quantum computing, AI ethics, neurotech) with disruptive potential
- Lead cross-functional teams in piloting and scaling prototype technologies
- Present strategic technology insights to executive stakeholders and investors
- Establish partnerships with research institutions and tech pioneers
- Monitor global tech trends and competitive landscapes to inform strategic decisions
- Drive innovation workshops to foster creative problem-solving
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy or R&D leadership within high-growth tech environments
- Proven track record of forecasting and implementing future-facing technologies
- Expertise in at least two emerging domains: AI/ML, quantum computing, biotech, or Web3
- MBA or advanced degree in Technology, Engineering, or Business Innovation
- Exceptional analytical skills with data-driven decision-making capabilities
- Strong executive communication and stakeholder management expertise
- Published thought leadership in tech innovation or futurism
- Experience managing multi-million dollar innovation budgets
