Responsibilities
- Develop and execute the 2026 technology strategy roadmap with measurable KPIs
- Lead research initiatives in emerging fields (quantum computing, synthetic biology, neural interfaces)
- Partner with C-suite to align technology investments with business objectives
- Build and lead a world-class innovation lab team of 15+ specialists
- Identify and evaluate disruptive startup partnerships for acquisition
- Represent company at global tech forums and shape industry discourse
- Secure $50M+ annual R&D budget through compelling business cases
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy with 5+ years at director/VP level
- PhD or equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, or Physics
- Published research in top-tier journals (Nature, Science, etc.)
- Proven track record scaling tech teams and managing >$30M budgets
- Deep expertise in at least two emerging tech domains (AI, quantum, biotech)
- Strong network with VCs, academia, and Fortune 500 CTOs
- Exceptional ability to translate complex concepts to stakeholders
