Responsibilities
- Develop comprehensive 5-year technology roadmaps aligning with global market trends and organizational goals
- Lead ideation sessions for next-gen AI systems, quantum algorithms, and biotech interfaces
- Conduct horizon scanning to identify emerging technologies with disruptive potential
- Partner with product teams to prototype and validate futuristic concepts through rapid experimentation
- Present strategic recommendations to C-suite executives and board stakeholders
- Manage cross-functional innovation sprints with engineers, designers, and domain experts
- Author thought leadership on technology adoption curves and ethical implications
Qualifications
- Minimum 8 years in technology strategy or R&D leadership within high-growth sectors
- Proven track record of launching at least two market-defining tech products
- Expertise in emerging technologies: generative AI, quantum computing, or neuromorphic systems
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (PhD preferred)
- Certification in Technology Foresight or Innovation Management
- Demonstrated ability to translate complex technical concepts into business strategy
- Experience securing $1M+ in R&D funding for experimental projects
- Portfolio showcasing published research or patented innovations
