Responsibilities
- Architect and execute 5-year technology innovation roadmaps aligned with market disruption forecasts
- Lead cross-functional R&D initiatives in quantum computing, AI governance, and biotech convergence
- Identify and evaluate emerging technologies with $1B+ market potential through patent analysis and venture partnerships
- Develop ethical frameworks for AI/automation deployment ensuring regulatory compliance across 50+ jurisdictions
- Present technology disruption scenarios to C-suite and board members with data-driven risk assessments
- Mentor innovation lab teams in rapid prototyping methodologies and agile development cycles
- Forge strategic alliances with academic institutions and government innovation hubs
Qualifications
- 15+ years in technology strategy with proven track record of commercializing emerging technologies
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Futures Studies; PhD preferred
- Expertise in at least three frontier technologies (quantum, AGI, synthetic biology, neuromorphic computing)
- Published thought leadership in top-tier journals (Nature, MIT Tech Review, etc.)
- Experience securing $50M+ in R&D funding through public-private partnerships
- Deep understanding of global tech policy frameworks (GDPR, EU AI Act, etc.)
- Certification in Futures Research (e.g., WFS) or equivalent foresight methodology
