Responsibilities

- Conduct horizon scanning to identify disruptive technologies with 2026 commercialization potential
- Develop patent strategies and IP portfolios for emerging tech domains
- Partner with VCs and startups to scout and integrate breakthrough innovations
- Present strategic visions to C-suite and board members with data-driven recommendations
- Build and mentor a global team of futurists and technology scouts
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic technology planning with Fortune 500 or scale-up experience
- Proven track record in commercializing emerging technologies (AI/quantum/biotech)
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- Deep expertise in at least two emerging tech domains (e.g., quantum machine learning, synthetic biology)
- Exceptional analytical skills with ability to model complex technology adoption curves
- Experience building and leading high-performing innovation teams
- Strong network within tech venture capital and academic research communities
- Published thought leadership in technology foresight or innovation strategy
