Responsibilities
- Develop and execute the 2026 technology roadmap with focus on quantum computing integration, neural interfaces, and decentralized AI networks
- Lead cross-functional R&D initiatives in sustainable tech and climate-positive innovation
- Analyze emerging tech trends (Web4.0, biocomputing, swarm robotics) for strategic implementation
- Partner with C-suite to align tech strategy with global business objectives and market expansion
- Drive innovation through incubation of moonshot projects with $50M+ annual R&D budget
- Represent Nexus at global tech summits and policy forums shaping 2026 digital governance
- Mentor next-gen tech talent through our Future Leaders Academy
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic tech planning with proven impact on multi-billion dollar initiatives
- Deep expertise in emerging technologies: quantum computing, synthetic biology, and neuromorphic AI
- Published thought leadership in top-tier tech journals (Nature, IEEE, etc.)
- Experience scaling tech organizations from 500+ to enterprise-level
- Certification in Future Studies (WFS) or equivalent foresight methodology
- Portfolio of implemented tech strategies with measurable market disruption
- PhD in Computer Science, Engineering, or Futurism preferred
