- Conduct horizon-scanning for emerging technologies with 3-5 year adoption potential
- Present strategic roadmaps to investors and board members with ROI projections
- Partner with product teams to integrate future-ready features into core offerings
- Build and maintain ecosystem relationships with academic institutions and startups
- Author thought leadership on technology trends for industry publications
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic technology roles with Fortune 500 or scale-up experience
- Proven track record of launching future-facing tech initiatives (AI/ML, blockchain, IoT)
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Business with focus on innovation
- Deep understanding of technology adoption curves and market disruption patterns
- Exceptional analytical skills with data-driven decision-making capabilities
- Experience presenting to C-suite and board-level stakeholders
- Certification in emerging technologies (e.g., AWS AI/ML, Google Quantum AI)
- Portfolio demonstrating successful future-tech strategy implementation
